Renaming the company underlines its core competency
item Industrietechnik und Maschinenbau GmbH, renowned as the developer and supplier of the MB Building Kit System for individually tailored solutions in the field of industrial factory equipment engineering, has changed its name to item Industrietechnik GmbH.  The reasoning behind the move was the desire to make the item company's core competencies self-evident from the name itself - in other words, the development and sale of item components. This change only affects the name of the company, while all aspects of the business and the existing organisation remain unchanged.
